Our members are fit and experienced outdoor enthusiasts, who are trained and equipped to be self sufficient in rugged bushland, able to operate for several days without external support. Our many skills include navigation, search techniques, canyoning and cliff rescue. Our members donate their time so these services are free to the public.
IMPORTANT EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION UPDATE!
We have just been informed that our paging service provider, Link Communications, has gone into receivership and is not providing paging services any more. This means our pager service will not work so please do not attempt to contact us by pager. We apologise for this but we received no warning that the system was to be shut down. The temporary method to contact BWRS is described below:
